Freshners isn't a factory. It's a kitchen in Gowalia Tank, Mumbai, and the family who has been roasting, mixing and packing mukhwas there for years.
The other way round
In most family businesses, recipes pass down from grandmother to mother. Ours went the other way. My mother started Freshners, making mukhwas in our home kitchen for family, friends and neighbours who kept asking for more.
Then my grandmother joined her, bringing a lifetime of recipes and experience. Together they built the blends our customers know today.
I've now joined as the third generation. They still make every batch by hand, the way they always have. My job is to take Freshners beyond word of mouth, so more people can taste what our neighbours have enjoyed for years.
